What is a Seniors Exercise Park?

Purpose-built outdoor spaces designed for older people.

A Seniors Exercise Park is a dedicated outdoor exercise space designed to meet the needs of older adults. Unlike traditional playgrounds or outdoor fitness equipment, they support activities that promote balance, functional movement, strength, flexibility and confidence in a safe and supportive environment.

The equipment supports movements used in everyday life, helping participants build the strength, balance and mobility needed for walking, climbing stairs, getting out of a chair and moving confidently through the community.

Importantly, Seniors Exercise Parks are also social spaces. Many participants report that exercising alongside others contributes to motivation, enjoyment and social connection.

Who is ENJOY for?
